Christ Renew Your Church: Pray

"To be persecuted for speaking truth is an honor every Christian should be willing to embrace. It is walking with Jesus Christ who is Truth Incarnate. If we know Jesus it is easier to speak His Truth no matter what forces oppose us. The opposition is temporary, Jesus is forever." Bishop Strickland, Tyler Texas.

"Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world." Matthew 28:20

Whenever it is that we fear the world, whenever it is that we mistake the evildoers for righteous men because we trust them, given their posts, and whenever it is that tyranny be upon us, our households, and our faith in Christ because of the wicked men, look not away from God but towards Him. He is the way, the truth, and the life. Christ has come to renew the world, and so too did He come to renew the most wicked of hearts. Pray for the Church that she find healing in His Sacred Heart.

Defend us in battle

And snares of the devil.

Cast into hell satan

and all the evil spirits,

O God, Christ in Heaven,

Our Holy and eternal hope,

Help us to thwart the Devil,

And all the men of the Catholic Church,

Who do evil instead of good, and claim good as evil.

Let the truly faithful,

The exiled, and the abused,

Be a light to those in most need of your holy conversion,

And the sacred army against evil men of the Church.

Let those strong in your virtues, O Christ,

Stand as a pillar against, priests, bishops, and popes of the church,

Who seek to distort your Holy cause.

O God, O Christ, O Spirit in Heaven,

Send upon these evil doers within,

The greatest chastisement they have ever known!

Rid the Church of men who deceive,

Rid your Holy Catholic Church of men who act without courage,

Men who ignore the holy causes of the faithful!

Let them be thrown into the fires,

Where there is only wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Remove those who act out of selfish preservation.

Destroy them, in their sin, so they might be renewed, and reborn, in your glory!

May they reform their own hearts,

By your bloodied wounds,

By your pierced side,

And turn unto your sacred heart,

washed clean by your sacred blood.

For the salvation of every soul, we pray in Jesus Christ, our King’s name. Amen.
